Things I like: Odin is a very interesting person who seems very passionate. A very intersting approach to class work provided by Ellerman, which I like. I look forward to class because it is always interseting and has a way of get me thinking about things that I would probably not due if I had not taken this class.
Cons: Odin may want to come up with an outline for the game. And be a little more clear about what he wants. If I were him power point or writing it all down, not only for us students but for us so that we both know what he is expecting from us and then he can remeber what he wants us to do. I understand that he thinks video games are awesome but not all of us play them or understand what he is talking about, so if possible maybe use movie references. I think it is hard to know what is expected and how in detail we need to go with things. Or is that the point?
I do think that this is going to get very interesting.

Odin also needs to learn tht people dont sit at home and play dungeons and dragons we do have lives and not many of us are into fantasy stuff most people that are in the class or even within the school are more into reality so maybe next time he comes up with a game to play he should think realisticly and get out of dream land.
just saying....
Hilary, you are totally right - Odin is a very passionate person. With rare exceptions, it is the best thing to learn something - from people, who like what they are doing. His knowledge is just a bit chaotic and he just needs to systemise/schematise it (e.g. with PowerPoin, as you mentioned). Otherwise, only God knows how much this approach changes from what I am used to ...:-)
