Mentors

I think the best way to find someone to mentor you is to expand your social networking skills. By networking I do not simply mean through social media and the like, but expand on who you know.  People are where they are because they knew someone who could give them the extra push in order to succeed and be where they are today.  The challenege for someone looking for the mentor after finding that person is having the will to jump at the opportunities they give you and go at it with all of your amibition.
I personally cannot recall any mentors outside of blood relation who have dedicated their time and finances to give me an opportunity at a greater future. My parents are my greatest mentors. They both have successful personal businesses which I work for, and by doing that I gain the insight to creating and running a business as well as dealing with customers and starting to create my own reputation.
