Keeping the Balance

Democracy is necessary to keep balance between the good and evil in people. It is set up to allow basic freedoms to all human beings. Through that, democracy allows people to have more flexibility in their lifestyles. However, it employs a checks and balances system that keeps people who have bad intentions from coming into to much power. A democratic government is the best form of government to allow its citizens to grow and socialize, while also keeping our more devious side at bay.

I liked how you wrote about peoples bad intentions. How they get dealt with by the guidelines displayed by democracy. It really does help balance the good and evil in a person.

I do beleive that a democratic gov't will help our society get more involved in what is happening in Modern day America. I do beleive people do take advantage of there freedoms"where there comes power there comes evil". I beleive in that statement after just hearing about people in our democracy and aentae selling seats to make an extra buck hoping the american people don't find out. I do beleive that the democratic gov't is the beat type of gov't.

Freeing themselves from a Tyrant or Dictator has so much important truth to it. Can we even imagine what the U.S. would be like under a dictatorship like what Iraq was? Or any of the other communistic countries? It would be a complete tragedy. The U.S. definitely stands up above and beyond the other countries of the world with Democracy.

I agree and think that democracy helps to keep people from becoming too power hungry. Oftentimes, people who hold too much authority become "evil" in their actions and do things that will not necessarily help our country as a whole, but instead just those individuals. I believe that with power comes evil and by keeping those people of power in check, we can aid in eliminating as much evil as possible.

I agree that democracy controls the good and the evil in people, it doesn't allow for anyone to become more powerful than another. I liked the fact you brought up about democracy allowing for more socialization in our lives. I'm glad our society has put into place the necessary checks and balances.
